“Little Ones” Camp: June 19-22, June 26-29, and July 17-20
This camp is for newer dancers ages 3 – 6. Dancers will learn how to properly stretch their bodies to prepare for class. They will explore movement through improvisational exercises and will start to learn basic technique in the styles of jazz, lyrical, and ballet. Dancers will learn a short routine that will be performed at the end of the session. Dancers should bring a quick, easy lunch with them each day. They are welcome to wear dance outfits/costumes or simply shorts and a t shirt or tank top. Dancers can be barefoot and can bring ballet and/or jazz shoes.

 

Technique Camp Level I/II: June 19-22, June 26-29, July 10-13, July 17-20 and July 24-27
This camp is for our Level I and Level II dancers, ages 7-10. Dancers will take a 1.5 hr. long ballet class and a 1.5 hr. long jazz/lyrical class followed by a 30 min. conditioning class that is combined with our Level III/IV dancers.
In ballet they will do a full ballet barre followed by elements in the center and across the floor. In Jazz/Lyrical, they will work on beginning and intermediate level technical elements across the floor and will learn a short dance combination. In the conditioning class they will work on a combination of stretching and strengthening exorcises.
Dancers should bring a quick, easy lunch/snack with them each day. They are welcome to wear dance outfits/costumes or simply shorts and a t shirt or tank top. Dancers can be barefoot and can bring ballet and/or jazz shoes.

 

Technique Camp Level III/IV: June 19-22, June 26-29, July 10-13, July 17-20 and July 24-27
This camp is for our  Level III  and Level IV dancers ages 11-18. Dancers will take a 1.5 hr. long ballet class and a 1.5 hr. long jazz/lyrical class followed by a 30 min. conditioning class that is combined with our Level I/II dancers.
In ballet they will do a full ballet barre followed by elements in the center and across the floor. In Jazz/Lyrical, they will work on advanced level technical elements across the floor and will learn a short dance combination. In the conditioning class they will work on a combination of stretching and strengthening exorcises.
