Day Time Class Instructor   Which Level is right for me?
Levels are determined by a combination of ability, experience, and age, but on average:

Combo/Beg. Tap/Pre-Tumbling – ages 3-5
Level I – ages 6-7
Level II – ages 8-10
Level III – ages 11-13
Level IV – ages 14-18

Class Descriptions:
Combo Ballet/Jazz –
These classes are for beginning dancers ages 3-5. Dancers will learn to properly warm-up and stretch. They will learn basic ballet vocabulary and technique at the barre, and basic jazz technique across the floor. Class will end with a short dance combination. This is the perfect introduction to dance for little ones.-


Pre-Acro –
A fun, energetic class that will introduce five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.

Ballet –
All ballet classes are classically structured – dancers learn ballet vocabulary and translations through a progression of barre, center barre, and across the floor exercises.

Pointe –
Students must be recommended for this class by Beka. It can be done as a pre-pointe training as well as a pointe class for girls who already have their shoes. Students must attend the Ballet III/IV class on Saturday to take the pointe class.

Jazz/Lyrical –
Dancers begin with a warm-up of stretching and then work on technique across the floor. Dancers end the class with a dance combination in either a jazz (faster & sharper) or lyrical (slower & smoother) style. Combination style alternates about every 2 weeks.

Technique –

Dancers begin with a warm-up of stretching and then focus solely on technical elements across the floor – legs, turns, & leaps.

Hip Hop –

A fun and energetic way to experience dance. Dancers get to focus more on the movement and style of dance as opposed to the technical elements. Dancers learn rhythm, timing, and coordination.

Tap –
Making music through movement – dancers wear tap shoes and accent music with their own tap sounds. Dancers work on steps across the floor and as a group in short dance combinations.

Stretch –
Classes designed to specifically help dancers improve their flexibility. Elements of strength and conditioning also incorporated.

Acro –

Level I/II class will focus on fundamental and intermediate acrobatic technique in the five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.
Level III/IV will focus on mastering the five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.

Walk in = These classes are not billed by monthly tuition, but by $15/1hr class and $20/1.5hr class. They will not be held on weekends the Company is at competition. Check the studio calendar.
